  (With 1 mode controllers, the motor only works under hall effect. If hall components inside the motor break down, the motor will stop working. However, with our dual mode controller, if the components break down, it’ll switch into non-hall effect mode and the motor will still continue working.)

Front vs. Rear Wheel

We recommend front wheel conversions for the 250 Watt kit unless you have a special bicycle or trike that requires a rear wheel. Front wheel conversions take about five minutes whereas rear wheel conversions may require purchasing a new cassette, professional tuning of shifters and an extended installation.
